Lord of the Harvest

When He saw the crowds, He had compassion on them, because they are harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into His harvest field."
    (Matthew 9:37-38)

"The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables...The seed is the word of God..."

Understanding Hope and Poverty, A Biblical Perspective

Understanding Hope and Poverty, A Biblical Perspective

“There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one.” (Romans 3:10-12) “…for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”(Romans 3:23) “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”(Romans 6:23)

”I have come that they  may have life and have it to the full.”(John 10:10”May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow by the power of the Holy Spirit.”(Romans 15:13)

‘The Lord sends poverty and wealth; He humbles and He exalts. He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; He seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor.’ (1 Samuel 2:7-8)
